Kenworth & Isuzu remain on top in latest truck sales data

The July truck sales figures revealed that while total sales across all segments were not as high as the record set in June, the market leaders retained their top positions. Kenworth leading in heavy-duty sales and Isuzu dominating in medium and light duty, and in total vehicles sold for the month.

According to reports, the fall in total sales from June to July was 29% but the annual sales figures continue the recent upward trend with growth - July 2024 compared with July 2023. Delving into the detail and Isuzu Trucks has sold over twice as many vehicles this year than second-placed  Hino. In the best-selling manufacturers in total sales ranking, Fuso was third, followed by Kenworth then Volvo as the top five.

Heavy-Duty Truck Sales July – Leading Makers

The heavy-duty segment has shown sold sales growth in recent years, and that continued in July 2024. Kenworth held its competitive edge over Volvo with Isuzu third, then Scania and Mack as the leading five manufacturers. Comparing July 2024 to July 2023, Kenworth sales are slightly up, Volvo slightly down.
