Check out: New Hino BTG Tipper Pro

The growing selection of trucks that are factory-built and ready for immediate use has garnered significant popularity within the Australian market. The appeal lies in the convenience of having an entire unit prepared for driving straight from the showroom to the job site, offering time and cost savings for many operators. This convenience also extends to arranging truck finance. Although Jade Truck Loans can sometimes offer a combined loan for a truck and a separate tipper acquired from another supplier, opting to purchase the complete unit from a single dealer can significantly simplify the loan process.

While several manufactures are active in the sector, Hino Australia has taken advantage of the take-up to expand its Built to Go range with new tipper models. In a statement on the company website on 1 September, Department Manager for Product Strategy, Daniel Pretovski acknowledged that these new models have emerged as a direct response to feedback from both customers and dealers.

The Tipper Pro variant is now available on both the 300 and the 500 Series Hino models. The Tipper Pro includes a barn door feature which differentiates these models from other Hino Tippers. This allows for the tailgate to be split and one half locked off. Hino say this can be a great advantage when operating in tight spaces as not as much space is needed for folding the tailgates away. Both series include Hino’s trademark SmartSafe package.

Note that the 300 Series requires only a car licence which may open up business opportunities for operators in many industries.

Hino 300 Series Tipper: Overview

The 300 Series Tipper is a light-duty model available in both manual and automatic transmissions. With its requirement for just a car license to operate, the 300 Series Tipper equipped with the 616 Standard Cab is poised to attract operators from various sectors. Specifically, businesses such as landscaping, gardening services, and small rubbish removal operations might find this model particularly suitable.

This 300 Series Tipper features a barn door tailgate, full-length rope rails, and a body lock mechanism. The body lock mechanically secures the body to the chassis, preventing unexpected rising while loading or driving. It automatically releases when the tipping action is engaged.

The 616 Standard Cab model offers a haulage payload of 1.7 tonnes and a width of 1.9 meters, making it ideal for tight spaces and confined access sites. There are also crew and wide cab variants available with body lengths ranging from 3.1 to 4 meters and a maximum payload of 4.7 tonnes.

Hino 500 Series Tipper: Overview

Hino's Tipper Pro is now extended to their medium-duty 500 Series FC1124. This configuration offers a substantial 6-tonne payload capacity along with a longer 4-meter body. This specific model is equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission. Furthermore, this series incorporates the Adaptive Cruise Control feature and meets Euro 6 compliance standards.

With its larger size, this model is expected to garner a wider industry interest and attract various sectors including excavators, mining operations, material handling services, civil construction, earth moving, rubbish removal, and many others.

Compare Loan Repayments: 300 and 500 Series

If you’re tossing up between a 300 or 500 Tipper Pro, the deciding factor may come down to dollars. Specifically the dollars required in truck loan repayments each month. To assist buyers with this stage of the buying decision process, we have provided a Truck Loan Calculator. Before or after getting pricing from your Hino dealer, simply enter the price into the loan calculator with your preferred loan term and balloon to see the estimated repayments on each model.

Adjusting the balloon payment and/or the loan term will directly impact the repayment amount, allowing you to customize the financial arrangement for your Hino Tipper Pro.
