Brisbane Truck Show Countdown – start thinking new vehicles, securing cheaper truck finance

2023 Brisbane Truck Show: Exhibitors, New Releases, and Financing Options

It may be a few months away in May, but the countdown is on and the excitement building for the 2023 Brisbane Truck Show. The show is owned and the event run by the highly-regarded industry body – HVIA, Heavy Vehicle Industry Association. The event has been happening for more than 50 years and is considered a major business event and a must-attend for truck and transport owners and operators.

With the 2023 exhibitor listing boasting a massive line-up of brands and manufacturers, this can be an ideal opportunity to catch up on the latest releases and stay ahead of the curve and the competition with new acquisitions. On display will be trucks, components, trailers, technology and  equipment.

Latest news from organisers includes that being showcased will be a new green solution which is engineered in Australia by Hyzon Motors. A hydrogen fuel cell platform for heavy rigid vehicles. This exhibit will be on show at the South Bank Truck Festival which is the outdoor display area running in conjunction with the main show.

Also exhibiting are the leading industry names - Daimler Trucks, Hino, Hyundai, IVECO, Isuzu, PACCAR and Volvo. For potential buyers that means great opportunities to talk new vehicles. Buyers can get greater confidence to order at the Brisbane Truck Show by first speaking with Jade Truck Loans about the cheaper finance options.

Options include securing a firm truck loan offer in the lead-up to the event and/or further out from the date, getting approved to confirm limits for the finance amount. While the Brisbane event is still some way off, we also note that trucks are being exhibited at the National Diesel Dirt and Turf Expo in Sydney in April. Including some up for auction at the Pickles Live Auction at the even.

We cover off on the show details and what potential buyers can do ahead of the event in regard to securing cheaper truck finance.

Brisbane Truck Show – Pre-event Details

The Brisbane Truck Show will be held at the Convention Centre:-

  • Thursday 18 May through to Sunday 21 May
  • Tickets available for one day $15 and multi-day $60
  • Purchase tickets online

The exhibitor listing has already been posted to the event website. To have such details available so far ahead of an event, can be a positive sign of the popularity and importance of the show to manufacturers and suppliers. In addition to new trucks, trailers, technology and equipment, the show will also feature a classic truck exhibition from Heritage Haulers.

If you’re in the market for a new trailer, this show may be a great opportunity to discuss your requirements with manufacturers such as MaxiTRANS. But, it would be very wise to have your finance sorted. In news from the Brisbane Truck Show, trailer manufacturers are facing challenges in meeting demand. Lack of labour and supply chain issues are persisting.

Buyers will want to be in a position to confirm their order asap and that means being confident that they will be able to secure finance when the payment is due. Speak with Jade Truck Loans well ahead of the show.

The show is sure to be well-attended. Visitors are encouraged to lock-in their travel and accommodation arrangements and prospective buyers their finance well in advance.

Trucks on Display and Sale at Dirt and Turf Show

Another upcoming event for truck operators to note is the National Diesel Dirt and Turf Expo. This will be held at Sydney’s Eastern Creek, 21-23 April, and while focusing primarily on equipment, also includes trucks.
We mention this show specifically because of the Pickles Auction to be conducted on the Sunday which includes trucks and trailers in the lots. Prospective buyers can see what vehicles will be on sale at the Pickles website.

When buying at auction, having finance confirmed ahead of time is very important, pretty much essential. Speak with us to lock your Compare Products Offer For Truck Finance in pre-auction so you can bid confidently to your approved limit.

Pre-Truck Show Finance Options

Approved loan limit is one of the important reasons why buyers should speak with us about truck finance prior to attending shows and expos with the intention of ordering. Pre-approved finance is available across our loan types - Chattel Mortgage, Leasing, Rent to Own and Commercial Hire Purchase. For full documented applicants and for Low Docs Truck Loans.

Pre-approved finance offers do have an expiry date, which your Jade consultant will advise. So confirmed offers can be secured in the lead-up to a show or auction but not a long way out. But, operators that want to know their approved loan limit, can request to get approved at any time. We can process applications based on an estimated loan amount so buyers can get a clear indication of what their limit may be. A confirmed loan offer can be sourced within the pre-approval timeframe.

For new businesses and possibly for those requiring low doc loans or who have credit issues, this can be an extremely helpful way to approach purchasing new vehicles. With these two big events coming up, speak with us about the options and how we can assist you with cheaper interest rate finance. Utilize our Truck Finance Calculator to estimate your loan repayments and explore Van Finance Options for all businesses options for your business needs.
